Vocabulary terms

Awareness-having knowledge;conscious;cognizant
Stereotype- a process, now often replaced by more advanced methods, for making metal printing plates by taking a mold of composed type.
Authentic- not false or copied; genuine; real
Dialogue- conversation between two or more persons
Collage- a technique of composing a work of art by pasting on a single surface various materials not normally associated with one another, as newspaper clipping , parts of photographs, theater tickets, and fragments of an envelope.
Composition- the act of combining parts or elements to form a whole.15/2010
Balance- a state of equilibrium or equipoise; equal distribution of weight, amount, ect.
Framing- the act, process, or manner or constructing anything.
Angle of View- the angle formed at a nodal point of a lens by the intersection of two lines drawn from the opposite ends of an image produced by the lens.
Close up- to put (something) in a position to obstruct an entrance, opening, ect; shut
Rule of Thirds-Proponents of the technique claim that aligning a subject with these points creates more tension, energy and interest in the composition than simply centering the subject would.[citation needed]
